Privacy Policy

Kachi is operated by an independent developer and helps travelers compare product prices across regions. This policy applies to the Kachi mobile app, website, and related services.

We collect information you provide, information created when you use Kachi, and limited technical information needed to run the service.

• Account details from Apple or Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, and optional profile image.
• Settings and saved content, such as preferred regions and currencies, search and purchase history, favorites, friends, and product information shared with you.
• Your current location when you allow access. Kachi uses it on your device to choose a shopping region; precise coordinates are not stored by Kachi.
• A product ID recognized from the camera view. Camera images stay on your device and are not uploaded or stored by Kachi.
• Device and diagnostic data, such as app version, device type, language, crash reports, and interactions needed to operate and improve the service.
• Purchase and subscription information supplied by Apple and our subscription provider. Kachi does not receive your full payment card details.

We use information to provide and improve Kachi, personalize regional comparisons, maintain accounts, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We may use your email address to send you marketing communications about Kachi. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. We do not sell personal information.

We share information only as described here. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

• With friends or people who open a link you choose to share. A shared product may include your name, avatar, product details, prices, regions, and savings information.
• With providers that help run Kachi, including Apple and Google for sign-in, Apple and RevenueCat for subscriptions, Sentry for crash diagnostics, Detour for deferred links, and infrastructure providers for hosting and storage.

You can change app settings, remove friends, and delete saved items in Kachi. You can turn off camera or location access in device settings and choose regions manually. You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal account information by emailing privacy@getkachi.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights.

Kachi may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Kachi is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.

We may update this policy as Kachi changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
